Ask-an-Attorney Series with Legal Aid Society of NENY
In Our Own Voices (IOOV) and the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York (LASNNY) are partnering to offer free, on-site, one-on-one legal consultations for survivors of violence. Consultation Details: Each free legal consultation will be 35 minutes long and scheduled between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM on designated consultation days for the year of 2025, and 9:00 AM to 1.00 PM in 2026. Time slots are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, assigned based on best availability following the successful completion of the screening and intake process. Registration is required. No Walk-Ins!
Intake Process: After you have registered, a representative will follow up within a week to complete the required intake process and ensure you are eligible to receive services. For safety reasons, this call may come from a blocked or unlisted number.
Consultation Requirements: Please bring any relevant legal documents or paperwork with you to your appointment.
