Join us for Jazz in July, In Our Own Voices Inc.’s annual fundraiser gala. This special evening will feature music, silent and live auctions, and an awards ceremony. Our live performer for this year is Grammy and Tony-Award Winning artist, Jennifer Holliday!
Halloween Ball & Ambassador Competition
Scare Away the Stigma
Alongside Discover Albany, we’re excited to host Scare Away the Stigma, a Halloween Ball and Ambassador Contest! We invite all members of the community to join us on the runway and compete for cash prizes on Friday, October 25 at 8pm at Lark Hall.
Paid Ambassador Contest
Albany County residents are also invited to participate in the Halloween Ambassador competition for a paid contract worth over $6,000!
We Seek To:
Develop the leadership of LGBT POC.
Strengthen the voices of LGBT POC in order to effectively communicate our perspectives within the larger community.
Increase our capacity for combating oppression and marginalization.
